Though unlike some similar games, the objective here is often less about getting a bunch of a certain kind of candy and more about uncovering sections of the board to free the candy animals trapped beneath it. In Candy Crush Friends Saga, you once again have to line up three or more of the same kind of pieces of candy, which causes them to disappear from the board or, if you link a bunch, combine into a different piece with special abilities. Though treading familiar territory, this match-3 puzzle game does add some new mechanics that make it feel reasonable new.
